VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Volunteers are always needed and are very important to provide services that mean so much for the animals in our shelter! You will find the many jobs for volunteers listed below:

  • Dog Exercising
  • Cat Socializing
  • Adoptions
  • Foster Care (Click here for more information)
  • Lost and Found
  • Grooming
  • Training
  • Special Events
  • Humane Education
  • Office Support
  • Grounds Maintenance

All volunteers are required to complete a Volunteer Application, attend the Volunteer Orientation and be trained, at a minimum, in Basic Dog and Cat Handling before volunteering can begin. Other specific training may be required as identified for specific jobs.
