El Dorado County Development Services has begun the process to update the County Zoning Code to implement the General Plan adopted on July 19, 2004.
A number of workshops have been held with the Planning Commission for input on various topics. Staff is currently working with the Economic Development Advisory Committee to review the draft. Additional hearings will be held with the Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission as the County moves forward with the update. As these items are scheduled, staff reports, draft zoning code sections, and related material will be posted to this web page under Workshops & Hearings.
A “working draft” table of contents (below) has been created to organize the display of information. As each section is prepared, it will be linked to the table of contents.
