Tobacco Use Prevention
The El Dorado County Tobacco Use Prevention Program (TUPP) collaborates with community, youth, service and health organizations, local officials and schools throughout El Dorado County to offer tobacco education, cessation and policy programs:
- Education on the effects of secondhand smoke
- Advocacy regarding tobacco control policies
- Implementation of voluntary policies and state laws
- Information on environmental and social norm change
- Efforts to reduce illegal sales of tobacco to children
