El Dorado County Sheriff’s detectives arrested David Robert Freeman, 38 years of age and resident of El Dorado, CA on January 5, 2012 for violations of California Penal Code 261.5 and 288a. This arrest stemmed from information received in December 2011 and an active investigation followed, which culminated in Freeman’s arrest.  Sheriff’s detectives continue investigation into this case and once completed will forward to the District Attorney’s Office for review. 

The victim in this case is a female juvenile and due to the nature of the case and State law no further information will be released regarding her identity.
