Dear Friends:

Thank you for electing me to serve as your Assessor. Property Tax Laws have become increasingly complex and my staff and I are here to help you. This website is one way of helping you understand your assessment and property taxes.

The property tax administration system provides a large part of the revenue that pays for education, and services like police, fire and roads.

If you have any questions, want clarification, or simply want more information, call, e-mail or drop by and see us Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (excluding holiday weeks in which our hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) If you need assistance after hours, just leave a message on my voice mail (530) 621-5718, and I will return your call at your convenience.

Thanks again.
