How do I Obtain a Permit?

The information in these pages is to help you through the permit application requirements and calculate an estimate of your development fees.  There are worksheets in the Department Forms page that will help you with the calculations.

Residential	Single Family Dwelling (SFD)
Residential Additions	Additions to a single family dwelling
Residential Second Dwellings	"Granny Flats"
Residential Garages	Garages not attached to a Single Family Dwellling (SFD)
Manufactured Homes	Includes older mobile homes
Accessory Buildings	Small out buildings associated with a Single Family Dwelling (SFD) greater than 120 square feet.
Agricultural Barns "inspection exempt"	"inspection exempt" barns without any electrical or plumbing and used strictly for agricultural purpose.
Agricultural Barns	Buildings used for agricultural purposes in zoning for agriculture.
Grading	Information on grading your property in preparation to building one of the above structures
Non-Residential, and Residential Multi-Family Buildings	"commercial buildings" and living units such as apartments or condominiums
Miscellaneous Non-Structural	Miscellaneous permit such as plumbing, electrical, mechanical, solar panels, re-roofing and other non-structural work being done.
