Supported Education & Activities for Learners (SEALs)

S.E.A.L.s (Supported Educations and Activities for Learners) is a free service available to support children at risk in their public or private, center or family childcare setting. This project is funded by First 5 El Dorado and operates under the auspices of El Dorado County Office of Education, Special Services Department. The goal of SEALs is to increase readiness for school by providing support to at-risk children, birth to five, with concerns in the areas language/communication, behavior, motor and social/emotional skills development. Together with the Early Care and Education provider we may develop activities and interventions, modify the environment or coordinate with other agencies to provide the child the additional support they need. SEALs also provide toys, equipment, resources and books through their lending library. We look forward to hearing from you and discussing how we may serve the children in your care.
