This Society, founded in 1939 as a private non-profit group, is dedicated to
preserving the history of El Dorado County.

The El Dorado County Historical Society own and operate the Fountain-Tallman
Museum located at 524 Main Street in downtown Placerville. For more information,

(a non-profit public benefit corp):
This Commission is a private non-profit group whose mission is to preserve,
protect, and restore the many pioneer cemeteries in the County.

Pino Grande Railroad Train in 5 feet snow El Dorado Western Railroad Foundation:
